On this webpage you will learn about ecology, ecosystems, and the Taiga-forest Biome. Ecology is the study of the interactions among living things and their surroundings. An ecosystem is the collection of organisms and nonliving things such as climate, soil , water and rocks in one area. The last thing you will learn about will be the regional community of organisms characterized by their climate conditions and plant communities.

To understand better, an organism is any individual living thing and a species is a group organisms very similar to each other that they are able to produce offspring. The term population is the same type of organisms living together in one area. On the other hand the term communty is different populations that live in a single but bigger area.  

 
The Taiga-forest biome is located on Eurasia and Northern America and it can be found near the top of the world.
